Mary Christensen
an artist based in the Bay Area and Sonoma County
An emerging fine artist and muralist with a current focus in printmaking and murals. She is a full-time student at San Francisco State University, majoring in art.
Mary also brings a love of mentoring teens through creating art and building a community of creatives. She has displayed this love of connecting youth and art through her work as an Arts Program Coordinator for the Boys and Girls Club, and a Lead Artist at a non-profit creating murals with teens.
Mary creates work with her friend and studio mate Elizabeth Zindler through their self-developed company, Flora Fauna Studios. She also is a co-founder of GlassWing Mural Co. with Elizabeth Zindler and Kaya Rose, a community-focused organization that creates public and private murals.
